Offered is a Polish military Cross of Valor (undated). 43mm wide bronze cross pattée with loop for ribbon suspension; the face with a central vertically-hatched escutcheon bearing the crowned Polish eagle, the upper, left, right and lower arms inscribed ‘NA’ ‘POLU’ ‘CHWAŁY’ (On the Field of Glory) respectively; the reverse with an upright sword surmounted by a laurel wreath on the vertical arm and the inscription ‘WALE CZNYM’ (To the Valorous) on the horizontal arm; on the replaced correct ribbon. The cross was instituted by the State Defence Council (Rady Obrony Państwa) on 11 August 1920 during the Polish-Soviet War...
