Description

Offered is an original 1918 dated Bolo made First World War 1907 pattern knife with scabbard cover.

Bayonet features steel fittings, with bird head pommel, service worn ribbed wooden grips, with large metal guard. 25.4cm long ‘Bolo’ swollen blade, showing sharpened edge and service wear, with broken off spear end point. Stamped & dated for manufacture by Plumb (Philadelphia and New Orleans) & dated 1918. Retains outer canvas & leather protective cover only, stamped Bramer Bros. 1918.
