Offered is a 1943 dated Orange Arsenal made Second World War 1907 pattern bayonet with scabbard. Bayonet & scabbard features steel fittings, with pommel & working release button, wooden grips and metal guard. The 43 cm long steel blade shows the ‘blood groove’ to the centre of each side of the blade and stamped XOA (Lithgow – Orange Arsenal), dated August 1943. The blade being factory sharpened only, with light use and wear. Standard leather & metal Australian Orange Arsenal marked scabbard, with WW1 era tear drop mouth piece.
