WW2 Australian Army commando stiletto dagger & scabbard

WW2 Australian Army commando stiletto dagger & scabbard. Classic mid war produced knife (most likely a Whittingslowe made piece – not marked), having been chromed overall, with original zinc finish showing through in parts. Cane top shaped pommel, slender ribbed grip, oval shaped guard and 18.7cm long double edge blade, retaining sharp edges and spear end tip. Good stitched mid brown scabbard, with central and bottom rivets removed. Retains grip snaps and Dept Defence arrow stamped and maker marked R. G. BROWN, dated 1943. Scarce.
