WW2 AUSTRALIAN MILITARY ISSUE BINOCULARS & CASE CARL ZEISS GERMANY MADE

Description

Offered is an original set of Australian military issued Carl Zeiss binoculars, in leather case. Binoculars retains majority of black enamel finish, with arrow issued marks etc. One eye protector is period replaced, with leather strap attached at one of two points. Optics are fine and operate well, with winder a little stiff from age. Leather carry case missing central metal fastener, with some age, being gilt embossed for Sydney seller, with embossed Carl Zeiss of Jena maker mark. Ironic thta a German set of binoculars would be issued to Australian troops for WW2 service!
