Description

WW2 Australian M1907, 1944 dated, Lithgow OA bayonet with scabbard & leather frog. Steel pommel with working release button, SLAZ42 stamped fine condition wooden grips, muzzle ring and metal guard. A 43cm unsharpened steel blade in good condition, showing OA manufacturers stamp and issue dated 4′ 44 (April 1944). Scabbard of leather and metal, Mangrovite 42 stamped to the leather body of the scabbard with round frog stud holding in place the dark brown leather buckle strap frog, DD and MI arrow stamped, maker stamped for F.S. LTD 1942. Overall bayonet in good condition, measuring 58cm in length.
