WW2 BRITISH AUSTRALIAN ARMY WARTIME MARTINDALE MACHETE WITH SCABBARD SWORD

Offered is an original British/Australian military issued Martindale machete & scabbard. Features slabbed triple riveted grips, mounted onto metal tang and blade measuring 40cm long. Blade is the correct swollen type, being factory sharpened and maker stamped with crocodile log to ricasso. Comes with its brass and canvas scabbard. Very good/clean, condition.

This came from an Australian avaiation collection, with many of these British Martindale machete’s being issued to aircrew as part of their issue survival equipment.
