***SOLD*** 1827 pattern, King George VI era, Rifle Officer’s sword. Features a nickel branched guard, with light infantry bugle, ornate wreath & crown design, with full chequered back strap. The wire bound fish skin grip is in very good condition, with a small patch missing to top left hand corner. The 87cm long, straight chromed blade shows etchings of foliate patterns & coat of arms with royal cypher of King George VI. Overall a mint condition blade. Retains leather and nickel mounted scabbard. This was obviously used as a parade sword, with the majority of the metal fittings being of...
