RARE WW2 GERMAN ARMY OFFICER’S DAGGER WITH DOUBLE ETCHED REGIMENTAL STAFF BY MAX WEYERSBURG OF SOLINGEN
Features very good condition nickel fittings overall, with dark orange grip and eagle cross guard. Bullion portepee knot is tied to the pommel and guard. Max Weyersburg of Solingen marked 25cm long blade, with etchings to both sides of the blade. Top blade features etched floral patterns to both sides of the blade, centrally etched Unserein Kameraden Der Regimentststab (Our Comrade in the Regimental Staff). Bottom blade etchings show full floral designs with maker details. Retains leather washer. Scabbard retains both suspension rings and bright finish, with deluxe officer’s hangers. Comes in a modern made WKC felt protective bag.
