WW2 GERMAN K98 SERVICE BAYONET MATCHING NUMBERED SCABBARD 1940 BY BERG & CO

Description

Offered is a WW2 German K98 service bayonet, with matching numbered scabbard 1940 dated by BERG & Co. Wooden grips, good steel pommel with waffen stamps and working attachment button, BERG & Co marked 25.5cm long, unsharpened blade, with serial number 8135 d stamped & dated 40 to blade spine. Partial blued finish to blade & metal scabbard with matching number & date 1940. Overall length 41cm. A very good condition piece with minor surface rust as per photos.
