Offered is a WW2 German K98 service bayonet, with matching numbered scabbard 1943 dated Waffen fnj coded to Alex coppel & Co of Solingen. Dark composite grips, good steel pommel with waffen stamps and working attachment button, fnj 43 marked 25.5cm long, field sharpened blade, with serial number 3131 u. Partial blued finish to blade & metal scabbard with matching number & 43 date. Overall length 39cm, 40.5cm in scabbard. A very good condition piece with minor edge nicks as per photos.
