One piece Iron Cross and Spange, medal measures 44 mm x 75 mm, pin to rear and maker marked 4 for Steinhauer & Luck of Berlin. A rare medal in fantastic condition and as referred to on page 172 of the book “The Iron Cross of 1939” by Gordon Williamson.

The Clasp to the Iron Cross (Spange zum Eisernen Kreuz) was a metal medal clasp displayed on the uniforms of German Wehrmacht personnel who had been awarded the Iron Cross in World War I.
