WW2 German Panzer officer’s uniform peaked cap

Description

WW2 German Panzer officer’s peaked cap. Good black leather peak, showing a folding crease to centre, slightly faded field grey wool crown, pink piped and green wool centre band, with dulled frosted aluminium eagle & cockade/wreath. Silver bullion chin cords attached to the side silver buttons. Excellent ‘saddle’ shape to crown, with two moth nips. Interior retains well used silk liner, showing celluloid diamond with ink name tag and leather sweatband. Well used cap, but In very good condition nonetheless. Approx. size 57.
