WW2 German Waffen S.S. infantry officers’ uniform peaked cap by Laco. Features a light grey ribbed wool crown, the crown retains a fantastic stiff saddle shape, with minimal wear. White infantry piping overall, with toned nickel S.S. eagle and swastika with S.S. skull and toned cross bones ‘totenkopf’ badge on the black velvet centre band. Black velvet band, with silver bullion chin chords and side pebbled silver buttons. Peak is firm and shows very light wear. The grey silk interior liner shows sweat staining and use, with commensurate light wear to the maker impressed beige leather sweat band, along with the maker logo underneath the stitched centre celluloid diamond. Large size, approx. size 57. This is a very good condition piece.
