Offered is a WW2 era matching numbered Japanese Arisaka bayonet with scabbard.

Bayonet features age toned fittings overall, with well worn numbered stamped pommel with working external release button, screw in well worn wooden grips and metal guard/quillon & muzzle ring. The 40 cm long steel blade shows the ‘blood groove’ to each side of the blade, with some field sharpening to spear point edges, with blade being in generally very good condition overall. Ricasso stamped for Nagoya Arsenal. Standard metal scabbard with some service dents, but generally very good. Overall a very good bayonet, with a very fine condition blade.
