WW2 Australian medal set of 6 to iconic Perth footballer WX7397 Corporal Patrick Joseph Fitzgerald, who took part in the Defence of Tobruk, attack at El Alamein, the amphibious landings at Red, Scarlet & Brown Beaches, as well as being a 10 year veteran footballer for Perth & Western Australia during the 1930’s. Group consists of an original swing mounted, as worn, medal group, including 1939-45 Star, Africa Star with 8th Army Clasp, Pacific Star, Defence Medal, War Medal & ASM 1939-45, all impressed named to WX7397 P. FITZGERALD. Medals come with his copied service record and original photo, showing Fitzgerald in uniform wearing his slouch hat.
