WW2 NAZI GERMANY RED CROSS OFFICERS HEWER DAGGER

Features a nickel flat urn screw in the pommel, with ribbed yellow grip, with no damage or cracks. The crossguard is in excellent condition with its oval disks on each side. The reverse disk is plain and the obverse disk features a half closed-winged eagle clutching a cross in his talons. There is a raised out mobile swastika on the chest of the eagle. The 25cm long blade is nice and bright throughout with a sharp end tip. The ricasso has been nickel-plated in the normal fashion with the blade remaining in a very good to fine state. The blade is unmarked, retaining the black leather buffer pad. The pebbled nickel scabbard shows a good amount of the original silver frosting, with no dents or cracks and retains both metal mounting hanger brackets. A very good condition piece overall.
