WW2 ROYAL AUSTRALIAN AIR FORCE RAAF LEATHER FLYING PILOT GLOVES NEWEY

Offered is an original pair of WW2 eather pilot's gloves. Dark brown leather, showing scuffs to inner palm & finger section, generally good overall, wool lined, named L. MACPHERSON to both gloves, sized 9 1/2 and retains Newey button snaps. Each glove measures 25cm long.

Comes with printed copy papers, including enlistment photos, relating to 401650 Flight Lieutenant Laurnece Leonard Macpherson. The paperwork shows he served in Darwin & Pacific theatres, awarded a Commendation for Meritorious Service, 1939-45 Star, Pacific Star, War Medal, ASM 1939-45 & G.S.M. 1918 with claps S.E. Asia 1945-48. He completed 2258 hours & 40 minutes of flying time, covering 7 different aircraft types.
